Servus reviews its accounts and fees on a yearly basis to make sure we're giving you more for your money than our competitors while just covering the costs of the services we provide (like our branches and online and mobile banking). This allows us to use the profits we make to invest in new services, support our communities and pay Profit Share® to members.
As a result of our latest review, we're making changes to a few of our personal banking plans and the fees we charge for printing cheques at our branches. The changes will take effect on July 1, 2018.
Banking Plans
INTERAC e-Transfer is one of the most popular forms of payment in Canada. The same is true at Servus. To reflect this, we're adding unlimited e-Transfers and making a small change to the monthly fees on the following accounts. To confirm which banking plan you have, please refer to your statement.
Personal Plan 30
- Adding unlimited free e-Transfer debits, saving you $1.50 on every e-Transfer you send
- Increasing the monthly fee by $1 to $10.95
Personal e-Plan 60
- Adding unlimited free e-Transfer debits, saving you $1.50 on every e-transfer you send
- Increasing the monthly fee by $1 to $11.95
Personal Unlimited Plan
- Increasing free e-Transfer debits from 5 to unlimited, saving you $1.50 on every e-transfer you send
- Increasing the monthly fee by $1 to $14.95
Personal Premium Unlimited Plan
- Removing commission free travellers cheques as an additional feature as we will no longer be offering travellers cheques as a payment option
Seniors Unlimited Plan
- Removing commission free travellers cheques as an additional feature as we will no longer be offering travellers cheques as a payment option
We're also working to bring you two new e-Transfer services—request money and auto deposit. Watch for more information on those in the coming weeks.

Cheque Printing Fees
We charge a fee for cheques that we print in branch for your account. To make sure we're covering our costs for this service, we're increasing the fees for certain quantities.
Personal cheques
- Cost for 24 cheques is increasing to $36
- Cost for 48 cheques is increasing to $60
Business cheques
- Cost for 50 cheques is increasing to $75
If you use cheques on a regular basis, talk to us about ordering from our supplier. It's often a more affordable option. A book of 100 personal cheques, for example, can cost as low as $60 when ordered from our supplier.
